mine is like random. the search looks fine but when i select a song to play (i have to select the dots right of the song and hit play) it adds a whole list of songs of the search and starts plays a random song from this list. if you select a song from the list plays the right song. its a big issue because after adds the search on my quota so after a while reaches the limit of the api.

as i was expecting it is the version of volumio. i had an older image of my installation that i restored on an other sd card and this one works fine.

this version resolved also an other issue that i had to reconnect the spotify plugin on each reboot.
i think that i ll stay with this version.

very weird 2.779 (latest) i had these issues that i told you. this one works perfectly.

@giorgosperi Which kind of version do you use now for volumio and YouTube? i have version 2.777 and 0.1.0, respectively, running on my machine. this doesnĀ“t work well, i have tried YouTube 1.0.1 but wasnĀ“t able to get it run at all so farā€¦

Go to ā€œ/data/plugins/music_service/youtubeā€
Then run command ā€œnpm outdatedā€.
To see if need update the dependency.

Goto ā€œ/data/plugins/music_service/youtube/node_modules/ytdl-coreā€
Then run ā€œnpm outdatedā€.

on volumio v2.729 and the youtube 0.1.0 that we all use with updated ytdlcore is working fine.
on volumio v2.779 the same version of youtube is doing these issues.
i wanted to find also other versions between these 2 versions to try but i have on my file 2.714 and 2.773.

@giorgosperi could u please provide a download of ur latest (2.729?) volumio version that works for u? I only have 2.692 on file.
Or anybody else can provide a download link, or is there a collection of older volumio versions available?

on file i have 2.714 2.773 and i have an image of sd card with 2.729.
i can upload probably it if you want. i was looking also an other version to download.
