Last week i had a probleem (2x) with the network connection after using de " set to default" options.

  1. fresh install of image Volumio 1.5
  2. LAN cable connected
  3. After boot, I added wifi parameters to test the wifi.
  4. I decided to use the options “set to default” to go back to the default situation (to erase the WIfi-settings)
  5. Bad luck, no LAN connection any more!
  6. I inserted the SD-card in my laptop:

/etc/networking/interfaces

auto lo

iface lo inet loopback

  1. In a working condition:

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
