Volumio Stops scanning NAS

Hi all,

I have a Raspberry PI 4 with HIFIBerry DAC+PRO, and an OpenMediaVault installation on a laptop with a huge Music Library.
When I try to scan the library Volumio stops and no item are displayed in library.
I try to view the mpd log and found a lot of errors like these:

ffmpeg/mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2: max_analyze_duration 5000000 reached
Oct 26 19:39 : update: added NAS/MyMusic/Music/5uu’s/1985 - Point Of Views/09 - Misery Loves Company.m4a

And

Oct 26 19:39 : ffmpeg/mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2: moov atom not found

please help me.

Best Regards

I think that most times people have experienced this sort of problem it has been corrupt music files, or a video file mixed in with the audio files.
Check those files that are being listed and replace them with good copies.

what do you mean with listed ? if you refer to file displayed in music library no files are displayed.
The spinning arrow remains for ever and no titles are displayed.
The same library works well with moode and is a copy of a library I use often on Mac without problems.
I tried many times and the behavior is almost always the same.
Just one time some titles appear but after the process stucks in the same way as before.
I try to see the mod.log and I find many:

ffmpeg/mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2: max_analyze_duration 5000000 reached

and

ffmpeg/mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2: moov atom not found

what can I do ?

Best Regards

I meant listed in that log file you showed part of.
If it works with other MPD based players I don’t know what the problem is with Volumio.
