Volumio Spotify plugin 2.0.3 small pause between tracks

Good day:

I installed Spotify plugin 2.0.3. When listening to an album that have tracks that planned to be sound continuously, it makes a small pause between them. This destroys the listening experience on classical music.

Is there any way to avoid this?

Hi,

I’ve once had the same issue. It seems that you have to use Spotify Connect and not the Spotify plugin to play gapless music.

You can use the Spotify app in a PC, MAC or Smartphone and then tell it to play in volumio device. You have to be on the same network as volumio and use the same user in spotify.
