Volumio and openhab

Hello,

I want to create a volumio player using an raspberry with a touch display. Additionaly I have a home automation and use openhab. Openhab will be mainly used for visualisation and some special switching function.

Is volumio designed to be the only system on a raspberry (cpu, memory) or would it be possible to let another system exist on the same computer.

As long as you refrain from using ‘apt-get upgrade’, you can more or less install whatever you want on top of volumio.
apt-get update is OK.
