Volumio 3 Constant Startup Boot Loop

I have lost all access to GUI. I cannot tail -f /var/log/messages, get no such file. Since there is no GUI I cannot grab Liveupdate log capture. I tried CLI version; with $logdump, but this binary was not found. I grepped for it, still not installed.
BLUF: I have ssh access no problem. GUI will not boot. http://x.x.x.x/browse or http:/x.x.x.x/dev simply gives back ’ This site can’t be reached & The connection was reset.". Tried to get an idea by digging through /var/log, but found nothing significant except multiple errors from #cat mpd.log threw “zeroconf: No global port, disabling zeroconf”. That’s about all the logs were giving away.
