I would like volumio to be able to play the video as well as the audio in video files.
I would like to see three modes of operation to achieve this. (Ideally as optional installs.)
Audiophile mode - works as present.
A/V mode - audio files are played as at present, with the screen set to powersave mode, video files (in the formats supported by the hardware decoders) play via HDMI/composite.
Party mode - audio files get visualization.
(Also I would like to see AC3 and DTS passthrough)
I would not want to see any change in the control system. (Other than the playback mode control switch).
