I’ve installed volumio and can connect fine, both ethernet and wlan working like a charm.
Only problem- I don’t have audio. Any ideas how to get my cheapo USB adapter (0d8c:000e C-Media Electronics, Inc. Audio Adapter (Planet UP-100, Genius G-Talk)) working? I can confirm it is supported on raspbian and found by lsusb.
I suppose also “aplay -L” shows that as audio interface. Anyway, at some point I was using Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 USB box (then with RaspyFI), supported and all. No sound out. Then I commented the whole audio_output section in mpd.conf as mpd is smart enough to look and find the default audio output in this case and it worked for me. Cheap to try at least.
