Touchscreen plugin - install from shell?

Hi, the touchscreen plugin installer has hung for me. When I “Show details,” I can see that it is asking for input:

[code]Configuring keyboard-configuration

Please select the layout matching the keyboard for this machine.

  1. English (US)
  2. English (US) - Cherokee[/code]

etc.

However I’m not able to enter anything in the web UI. So I’m wondering if the plugin can be installed directly from the shell?

Running RPi 2 with latest version.

Please update to 2.001 and the plugin will install without issues…

Hi michelangelo, thank you, this is with a fresh install of 2.001. But I think the problem was that I had not connected the USB from the touchscreen back to the RPi. I will try with anew tomorrow.

I had this error as well, unplugging a usb keyboard and doing a reinstall of the plugin seems to fix it.
