I’ve been using Volumio for quite a few years and I thank the developers for making such a superb product. Sound wise it’s fantastic. There are a few things that I’ve seen in User Interfaces of many other music players that if added would be the cherry on the cake for me:
- Sorting that ignores “The”.
- Sorting of artist with Surname first.
- Having the ability to add pictures of the Artist (like you do for albums). Or turn off artist pictures entirely.
- For Artist scrolling have a vertical alphabet next to the scroll bar to quickly jump to a letter.
I use Volumio in the Clasic view (which I think is great for smart phones). I also have a library of songs on a local USB drive.
