Suggestions about the best platform using external USB DAC

Dear all

I want to make an upgrade from my HifiBerry DAC to a new system. The DAC would be a Pro-Ject USB Box S+, which is supported on volumio https://volumio.org/forum/usb-dac-compatibility-list-t2151-50.html

What is the preffered platform to run an external DAC? Solidrun Qbox https://www.solid-run.com/product/cubox-i2/? Or should I use a new Raspberry III Board?

Is the Qbox as I linked above the correct Qbox or should I buy the bigger one https://www.solid-run.com/product/cubox-i4pro/?

The raspberry pi has shared usb and lan this makes it a non preferred device for high quality audio over usb.
You could also take a look at the odriod’s like the C2. Same size as the raspberry pi without the USB bottleneck. But it doesn’t have wifi on the board.
