Can I stream from my RPi2 with Volumio to other Airplay devices in my home?
All this while also playing from the Volumio device itself.
The RPi is connected to my main stereo in the living, but I have small Airplay speakers in my bedroom and kitchen. Sometimes I want the same song to blast in all rooms.
Can this be done? And if so, how?
Sorry but Volumio is not designed to do that.

So this is kind of where my Volumio project stops then…
I was so happy with the software so far and really happy to start using it.
But without this feature it can’t become the central point of music in my home I thought it could be…
Sad that I missed that…
Now it seems like the only way I can do this it by keeping my Mac on all the time…
Is there an alternative way of achieving this with volumio devices?
“not designed to do that” completely true.
But, don’t forget about volumio totally, as multiroom is one of the next things to be implemented.
Check google for “snapcast” server and client, then you know which way we are thinking.
The software is already in the image…
