“No change with english or french web UI, always the same bug with v2.254 and v2.224.
I checked my NAS config, all is good. (strange cause I thing there’s a link with the NAS).
Startup and shutdown are very long with those versions.
I returned with v 2.201 and there is no problem at all, no Web UI bug and statup 's very fast.”

I encountered the problem already with ver 2.224, Swedish and English UI.
Me to returned to 2.201, that is stable.

After some days using volumio, no problem at all.
What I done, if I can help:

-Delete all partitions on my SSD.
-Format the entire SSD with with secure erase command
-Create a new Ext4 partition on me SSD
-Install normally volumio on the SSD, and update to v2.254
-I fixed IP with MAC address

All’s fine for me.

This problem came back and I haven’t touched to the configuration…
Really I don’t understand…Is someone found a durable solution?

We are working hard to fix this issue. This release was not meant to be released, it was just because of a mistake. But nevertheless this issue has to be solved, except its quite misterious even for us.

This issue has already been reported and I am looking into it a lot.

I thinked I fixed it… It was a misalignment between socket.io libraries in front end and backend…
Could you please help us test if the issue is actually solved?
To do so you can:

  • Update all the way up to 2.264, and refresh your browser

Please let me know

I tried to update but volumio says me there’s no newer version than 2.254
Can I flash with usb drive directly the 2.2264?
I’ve to format before?

Hi everyone,

First, here’s my setup (i should have start with this … ) :
Packard bell Easynote MH36 Motherboard in a case
MSI US54SEII usb wifi adapter (an old one but the Edimax EW-7811Un i bought appears to be too unstable)
No hard drive, boots from a usb key

I kept using v2.201for the last week without any trouble.

I’ve just updated to the v2.264 directly from the online image on a new usb key.
(EDIT : my mistake : it was the v2.263, sorry)

I will tell you more after a few hours of use but i already have the same trouble when i select the French language :

So, for now, i will stay with the default one.

When I click on “true” button, nothing happens…

Update from v2.263 to v2.264 results in a “boot error” after a restart for me.

I just installed update. Works fine for me at this moment.
Just to try, i’ll choose french language to test.

I made the test and the problem of boot error is due to the fact that boot partition is missing after the update. This a problem already discussed with the volumio team.
