Stop Auto Rescan HDD at Start Up

Hi,

I need help with my Volumio. Every times that I turn on the device, Volumio will need to rescan all the HDDs attached with the device which takes several hours due to the huge music collection. Sometime, it even fail to complete the HDDs scanning process.

Therefore, I would like to stop this auto rescanning at start up. Please, help advice.

The detail of my Volumio Information is below.

Volumio Version: 2.861
Hardware: Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Rev 1.2
DAC: DIY R2R

Has it ever completely finished the scan and database creation?
I’m wondering if you’ve turned it off before it completed the scanning in the first place.
Mine doesn’t do that if I need to restart it. I usually leave mine on permanently though.

Yes, it did finish. I usually have to leave it overnight to scan. However, if I turn off the device, the re-scanning process will kick start again everytime that turn it back on.

The problem is still not solved. Any advice would be highly appreciated.
