[Solved] Turn Volumio off?

I switched off Volumio through the menu option. Then I waited about one minute. Volumio did not respond anymore, and my screen said: “Connecting…”. Then I turned the power off the Pi. How do I know if the Volumio is done switching off? What happens if you disconnect power too soon?

If there is only one red light left on then the os is shut down and the device powered off.
