I am getting a case for the pi with Volumio and would like to just plug it in and forget it - just reach for my ipad whenever I want to hear the music. I don’t like waiting for boot up.
Do you guys think that will be a problem?
should not be a problem. (only power consumption)
If you have a HDD connected to your pi i would recommend to stop the music (if you press only pause the HDD will continue to spin)
