SMSL M400 DAC compatibility

Hi, I am a newbie here but have been using Volumio for quite some time. I am planning to purchase the SMSL M400 DAC but it is not yet on the compatibility list. I know the DAC is kinda new but did anyone here have tested it? Or do you think it will work as I see most SMSL product are supported.

Any help would be gratefully received.

I have SMSL M200. The M200 works with volumio only in PCM mode. When Direct_DSD is enabled, the DSF file is converted on the fly to PCM176 or PCM705.
