Sending files over network to M.2 SSD attached to Pi 4

Volumio Information

Volumio Version: Pi
Hardware: Pi4
DAC: Nanosound One

I’ve owned the Pi4 with Volumio for about a week now (very impressed), and I want to switch it over from the case that came with the kit to a Nanosound One case/DAC. I also want to use the M.2 expansion board from Argon in order to store music.

My question is this:

How do I send flac files over my network (from my PC) to the M.2 SSD?

did you try winscp if you can access and see your m.2 drive you can send it
https://sourceforge.net/projects/winscp/files/WinSCP/5.17.10/WinSCP-5.17.10-Setup.exe/download

Thank you for the reply.

I haven’t received the expansion board yet, but I will soon, and I will be able to try.

I also discovered this from Nanomesher, where it talks about formatting and copying files: https://nanomesher.com/m-2-extension-tips-for-formatting-the-new-ssd/

I will send an update soon.

@jcschlic volumio will run only from sd on the pi4 but maybe you can use it for your music.
booting volumio from the ssd you still can dream about ( they have to rebuild a lot to get that working ) so if you have the time in a few years it should be ready …
