Copy to an attached HDD is nearly not possible . It is extreamly slow and also has write-protection
afterwards . Need to go with Linux to delete corrupt file . Reading is no problem.
Wlan and ext4 (89kb/s) .

I have the same problem with a RPi 4 with 8GB RAM, and a SSD drive connected to USB3. It happens over SMB or SFTP. It is impossible to copy more than a few files at time.
