Project with PeppyMeter Screensaver Plugin for VOLUMIO v2.9xx and 3.0xx buster

Hi All,

Please if somebody can help as I am using a 4K TV but the Peppy Screen is not covering the entire screen and even if I am selecting any resolution from the options, I end up having the same as shown in the image

Please advise if do I need to do a fresh installation or if I need to make some changes in the existing files/folder.

Try to do this:

  1. Connect via FTP
  2. go to - boot / userconfig.txt
    3.Add:
    hdmi_group = 2
    hdmi_mode = 87
    hdmi_cvt 1920 1080 60 3 0 0 0
    hdmi_drive = 2

I recently updated to 3.233 but with PeppyMeter plugin, I had to start from scratch. I couldn’t update on the fly. Anyway, it’s not a big problem because I just follow the steps on my note and have it up in a short time.

Next time disable the non official plugin first, then perform the OTA then enable it again. This is how I did the OTA update with success.

Is there any planned project to display VU meters for ROON (i.e. roon bridge on raspberry pi 4 running volumio)?

Thanks

Next skin (1920x1080)

Assume it’s not a straight forward task to get these to work at 1024x600?

Thanks

to whom is that question?

In relation to Gelo5 skins, but open to anyone that can help.

Thanks

You can download it and modify the meter.txt, to position everything. Without the screen it’s hard to do.

@ bungie240I don’t have a 1024x600 LCD. I did it by hand without a monitor. Give it a try.1024x600.zip (486.9 KB)
Unzip, copy to /data/plugins/miscellanea/peppy_screensaver/peppymeter/custom_2 (1024x600)
Overwrite meter.txt and copy new 3xpng files + 1x jpg

And new skin8
