on v. 2699, rPi4, USB DAC (FiiO e17k).
Flac files stream from Plex server flawlessly. Mp3 radio streams (web radio) and Pandora do not stream at all with default “playback option” settings. They all generate an alsa input/output error.
Only option that allows playback of web radio and Pandora is to enable volume normalization under playback options.
Volume normalization seems to have the caveat of “may reduce sound quality”.
Any insight?
