I currently have about a dozen AudioRequest server/players with a library of about 100,000 tracks, no streaming.
I am looking at moving to something like VolumIO, and I’m looking at where I might start looking to see if that’s a good fit for me or not.
The hardware needed is a simple player at each location with digital and analog audio out depending on the setup in each location. Also I have a video feed that shows on a display what is playing, and helps when searching for what to play. I would like to be able to keep that video feed.
And the AudioRequest has a nice feature called NetSync which allows me to keep my library master in one place and all remote servers get sync’ed up with that master automatically. Is there anything in VolumIO that does that kind of a sync of a full library?
