lirc support in volumio 2.599

Hi all
First of all thank you very much for this great project!
I run volumio on my raspberry pi. To control my HDR I have added lire support to send the “on” signal using an IR-LED.
After installing version 2.599 I am no more able to find the appropriate lire_rpi module so I can not use the lircd anymore.

Is it true, that you have removed this kernel-modul from this version?
Is there another way to bring this feature back?

Hi roland68,

unfortunately i can’t help you, but i have a similar problem.
I’m also using lirc to control some hardware.
After the latest update, lirc doesn’t work anymore. I’m not sure why, but i can’t use the command irsend.

Did you find a solution?
