Hi,

I “succesffuly” installed transmission-daemon on my volumio and now my volumio is in a boot cycle in the web page…

Before I do a fresh install - is there anything I can do to fix?

Thanks

John

It really depends on how much effort you want to spend  Most cases it is faster to start from fresh.

PS: if you did apt upgrade during your mission to install transmission, then it would be MUCH faster to start from scratch, and not upgrade packages!

Good luck!

Hi

I did do a apt-get upgrade… was this a mistake?

for 2.xx it will screw up your volumio.

oh dear… ill reflash in that case

you can update but never upgrade…
