Volumiom runs on a mini PC hardware, to my great satisfaction. However, I have a problem. I have an Apple remote that I want to integrate into Volumio. The miniPC can see the remote because the indicator LED is flashing, but the Volumio cannot handle it. Can someone help the remote control and the Volumio recognize each other?
Have you installed the IR Remote Controller plugin? That has options for Apple remotes.

You mention a miniPC, so I asume it’s x86 based.
The plugin mentioned by SimonE, is not supported with the x86 as it’s fully rPi based.
If you want to get it working, you need to do this manually. However you can take the lircrc file of your remote from github
