I’m Bob from San Francisco, CA - I’ve been trying to get a Logitech Media Server headless server/player implementation setup on my Cubox and experienced a lot of frustration with the install and tweaking.
So when I saw this release, I had to try it. I am listening to internet radio right now from my Cubox with Volumio installed, and I have to say the install went great.
I have a few issues which I will post in the appropriate forum topics, but first of thanks for this project! Long may it live and prosper.
Configuration: Original Cubox, HeadAmp.com “Pico” usb dac/amplifier, Sennheiser HD600 phones, flac files on USB stick (right now for testing…more about that in another post). Downloaded and flashed the micro-sd on a Windows 7 pro machine – no problems there at all. Eventually, I want to have my FLAC library (about 500 gb), on portable usb or eSata drive. Will be using one of the MPD clients for IOS as a remote. Still need to add a wifi dongle to the Cubox.
