Do you mind reflashing it and retrying? (do not do factory reset)
Thank you very much

happy to report all is working well

Ok i will flash the volumio image again and the size of the sd card is 16 gb.

In fact it shows its still updating when you send the bug report. One issue we still need to solve is that it takes about 10 seconds to show any feedback to the user.

i can live with the 10 second delay  as long as its not restarting while its still updating .

May be put a 10 second timer before it reboots ?

I flashed the volume image again (16gb card) the first update went well and at the second he was downloading everything and at last I got another error and still on version 2.221.

v2.221: logs.volumio.org/volumio/3p4m5Z0.html

v2.231: logs.volumio.org/volumio/lS2RzM2.html

At the second check of the update it goes well and download everything to the end and it works now and the hifiberry digi + pro also

log v2.231: logs.volumio.org/volumio/qpkRyWL.html

edit:

The only problem is that i2s signal does not work directly on hifiberry digi + pro no sound it did work with the experimental version of volumio on an audio GD 2015 dac.

I agree, all works now. Fresh flash install from 2.201, then update to 2.221, reboot and update to 2.231. Works like charme with Allo Boss and RPi3.
Best regards.

Hardware : Sparky with kali and piano 2.1
Volumio : 2.167

Set to test in dev mode and got an update for 2.208

This is the log before i rebooted after the update :

this is the log post reboot to 2.208.

happy to report that this also went well

Problem solved i2s on hifiberry digi+ pro works only if the volume is dsd over pcm and set to the audio GD dac 2015 on pcm.

Thanks for the many work

Happy to hear that! Thanks for the support, this was beta testing at its finest!

Now. let’s wait for the next one who has issues updating

Hello, I tried the OTA updated.
My system is a Raspberry Pi 2, connected to a USB DAC (I disconnected it during these tests). The network connection is wired.
I did not start from a fresh system, but from my running one.
Started from: 2.041
Updated to: 2.201
Update was regularly performed. These is the bug report taken after rebooting, as v 2.041 hadn’t it.
logs.volumio.org/volumio/wvwumfg.html

Then I enabled test mode and tried to update to 2.221
Started from: 2.201
Updated to: 2.221

Everything seemed to proceed regularly, but the system is stuck to version 2.221.
This is the bug report I took before rebooting:
logs.volumio.org/volumio/v9ST5bA.html

Tried to update again, after turning the power off, completely (I unplugged the power supply). Still stuck on 2.201.
This is the bug report I took before rebooting:
logs.volumio.org/volumio/oBQmRWm.html

Now I prepared an SDCard with a fresh 2.201 system, and updated it to 2.221: al worked flawlessly.
This is the report, from 2.201 to 2.221, fresh SDCard, before rebooting:
logs.volumio.org/volumio/2VPSgXy.html

Now I tried to update to 2.231: it works sometime, created the backup (at list, it write it’s doing so), downloads data, but at the end it writes: Update file not found.
I gave it a second try to update, and it completed the update correctly. Here is the bug report, take before rebooting:
logs.volumio.org/volumio/fZhxDYr.html

Hi mich,

Updater working (almost) perfectly - had a minor setback between 2.221 and 2.231 - had to delete user data.

First update - flawless
logs.volumio.org/volumio/8jMMBM0.html from 2.209 to 2.221

Second one - didnt work.
logs.volumio.org/volumio/YkMfDMi.html
Nothing happened when clicking update - tried enabling test mode(if it was somehow disabled when updating) - didnt help.
Tried rebooting a 2nd time - didnt help

Deleted user data -> enable test mode again -> voila  -> update working again
logs.volumio.org/volumio/Da7QBtY.html from 2.221 to 2.231

Happy listener again

Coax connection works better than USB - and it sounds differently.

Setup:
RPI 3
Nuprime DAC-9 USB and Allo DigiOne

regards
happy listener from copenhagen

I just completed my test report, with latest updates. See it above.

I received an error updating from 2.221 and 2.231.

First update from 2.201 to 2.221 worked well. No issues.
logs.volumio.org/volumio/QYkW7hG.html

Second update from 2.221 to 2.231 had minor issues.
After clicking check for update, there was a short delay, then the system began downloading the update. Once the download completed, I received the message “Update file not found”. Once I rebooted the software, the system indicated I was not running v2.231 and everything appears to be working normally. I have not run into any other errors.
logs.volumio.org/volumio/EtLhbJO.html

Volumio is running on a RPi2B with output through the audio jack. No DAC.

Thanks

On my system (RPI3 + Hifiberry Digi) both updates (to 2.221 and to 2.231) were successful. No problems occured during the update process.

The system V2.231 works well. All my settings, playlists ect. are still there.

Cheers
Pirx
