Hello from South London 
Got myself a Pi 2 the other day and wasn’t sure what to do with the thing but then had a read about using as a network music player and after having a read about Volumio i installed the other day and have to say it’s “sweet”
Using with a WD My Book Live network drive which took me a while to setup as couldn’t work out the right Remote directory address and i was using the full address where it only needed Public/Shared Music/ and it popped into life and after about 20mins of scanning about 300 folders its all working
Using with a Yamaha A-S500 and JPW Sonata speakers which sounds pretty good but may buy a DAC soon to give it a boost in sound quality
The best of both worlds
