Cubox-i 4x4 and Volumio

Hi,

I am considering to buy a Cubox-i 4x4 to use Volumio. I would like to understand :
1 - If it is currently working with well with Volumio 1.5 .
2 - If it will be compatible with Volumio 2 once it’s released
3 - What output can it use. My PSaudio directstream DAC can accept either I2S through HDMI or USB. Ideally, I would prefer to use I2S. Will it work?
