Country select in network

I’m totally new, how can I select the country in the network settings. I think the default is not correct. And want to check this.

But I cannot find it in the network settings

Configure Volumio WiFi on Pi without using cabled Ethernet

Just had the same problem and after a few hours I worked out that the standard setup does not include any optional wi-fi channels that are country dependent. The standard base band channels are scanned by default so that is why some networks are listed. For me, here in Australia, I needed to manually set the country code appropriately to scan all available channels. I use a fixed ethernet connection, not wifi.
the problem is that it lost connection each time when I use press stop when i go to sleep
and the next morning I want to play it does not have any connection with volumio
i must restart everything.

In Moode you must select the country code, that is what I miss in Volumio
i don’t know if that’s the solution

what does the below command return?
sudo iw reg get

To change:

• Look up your alpha2 landcode

Option 1:

• sudo iw reg set NL

Option 2:

• sudo nano /etc/default/crda
• add your country code to the end of REGDOMAIN
  
  
• press CTRL+O en CTRL + X
• reboot

Option 2 is preferred.

it will give you a hard time with the internet connection, I wouldn’t expect that Volumio will freeze on this.
