Contemporary optimizations plugin for local connected displays

Oh, I’ll check it, with a background which is selected per plugin.
thanks, for reply

DVO, just told me that I need to make the following setting:

2nd setting is hidden when you have enabled the 1st Blur Background.
Doing the setting as suggested by DVO, does the trick.

Hi Wheaten,
it’s my mistake, the generally blur option do not work for separate selected background for play view. I’ll correct this

Hi Wheaten,
it’s fixed now in version 1.0.5

Hello, this plugin is not in V3, released earlier today. Can I add it manually?
I thought all plugins were going to be in V3.

you have to add this manually it’s not included in the plugins.
you can find the how to … in the top of the post.

Hi all and congratulations for the great job.
I tried to install on the latest version (my mistake) and the installation progress remained stuck at 60%.
I flashed to 3.165 and after installing the touch screen plugin (it took a loooot of time), I followed the instructions on the #1 post.
no luck.

this is what i got:

volumio@volumio:~/contemporary_advanced$ sudo volumio plugin install

This command will install the plugin on your device

Compressing the plugin
Plugin succesfully compressed
Progress: 10
Status :Scaricando il plugin
nloading plugin at http://127.0.0.1:3000/plugin-serve/contemporary_advanced.zip

Am I wrong doing something?

I’m doing this on a pi4 2gb.

Thanks a lot

EDIT:

simply rebooted an worked without sudo.

Thanks anyway

2acd,

i have installed, i don’t see anything on the display that i have connected to HDMI, how can i set this on

Thanks

did you install the Touch Display plugin and enabled it?
did you enable the contemporary_advanced plugin in the plugin section?
under settings you could alter many options.

best regards,
dvo

DVO,

yes, I have installed the Touch Display plugin and enabled it
I see a lot of settings. but still nothing on the display

Screen/display: 1920x480 ips 8.8inch, RPI4 connected the right way

Is the display connected to the HDMI0 port of your Pi4?

Do you see at least the Volumio command line on the screen or really nothing?

Please post the output of

cat /boot/config.txt

and

cat /boot/userconfig.txt

DVO,

does this also work with the RPI3b
i have connected the HDMI to the display but nothing !

regards

Since your problem seems to be to get the display working at all (and not to be related to the contemporary optimizations plugin) I suggest to proceed via PM or in a new thread, so this thread doesn’t get cluttered with basic display installation steps.

P.S. Just PMed you
