Configuring mpd/volumio mono output

Hey guys,

I have an original pi B+ with an Amp+. I want to use only one speaker and thus have to configure mpd/volumio to use only one channel (merge).

I tried editing the mpd.conf in the output area with:

format “::1” <- didn’t work
channels “1” <- didn’t work

Any help?

Hey there,

i would also like to do this - I’m using a USB soundcard and would like to set it to mono… did you end up finding a way?
