Avoid Volumio restore play at boot

Hello,
I’d like to disable the feature that restores the playing at boot and would like to start mpd paused.

Tried to achieve this without success
Where is this setting stored?

Cheers,
V.

“stored” in /etc/mpd.conf

I don’t have tested, but this should work:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Music_Player_Daemon/Tips_and_tricks#Disable_resume_playback_on_startup

Thanks Klaus,
in my /etc/mpd.conf (latest Volumio release) I had no restore_paused "yes" .
Nevertheless I tried putting restore_paused "no" and reboot, but nothing changed.
There might be another, newer setting somewhere.

Thanks anyway,
V.

I found a solution that works,
but I hope there’s a cleaner solution (e.g. ini file setting):

Ciao to everybody,
V.

PS It would be great to have a toggle option in Volumio config interface for this setting.

Did you comment out “state_file” in mpd.conf or did you edit /etc/rc.local?
