Is there any way Volumio can be controlled by a apple smartwatch,just basic functions would be good.
Volumio offers an iOS app. Should work.
You can use iOS Shortcuts with either ssh or API to do a lot of things like play, pause, stop, volume up/down … can be used with voice commands. I did it with ssh so far and it worked fine.
I guess it depends on the new app which is supposedly coming, if they implemented platform native notifications or whatever those are called on iOS, this kind of support should come for free.(atleast that’s the case with android and android watches)
