When I started with Volumio 1.55, I wanted to have certain radio stations. I noticed that in version 2 (so far), my radio stations are not listed. So here are links to my radio stations (and yes, you can work out my political leanings from them, and the fact that I have kids, and where I’m from). I will also explain where I got them from - you should be able to find a link for any station this way.
To find a link in Firefox:
- go to tunein.com
- find your radio station and a stream that works - higher quality would seem the logical choice if you can make the choice
- next right-click in the page and chose “Page Info”
- in the window that pops up, go to media and identify the “Audio” in the “Type” column. That shows the link. You can copy and paste it into (e.g.) VLC to check it works.
In Explorer:
- go to tunein.com
- find your radio station and a stream that works - higher quality would seem the logical choice if you can make the choice
- next right-click in the page and chose “Inspect Element”
- In the window at the bottom, go to the tab “DOM Explorer”
- Press Ctrl+F or go to the “find” bar within this bottom window, look for “audio id” - this line (once found) contains the link to the stream
