So I’ve been thinking about picking up a miniDSP 4x2HD for my setup so I can better base manage my 2.1 setup however I’m concerned about the noise floor. According to the spec sheet the dynamic range is only about 104dB. That seems kinda low to me for a high quality product. That being said I doubt I’d really notice it tho. Currently I’m running an objective dac and I love the quality. Not really sure if I should pick this up or maybe go for the higher end model.
