We are seeking a skilled and dedicated React Native Developer to be part of the Volumio Team!
You will be part of a team whose goal is to impact the future of how music is listened to, by delivering the best user experience to over 300k Volumio users.
The React Native developer’s main goal is to improve the current Volumio mobile apps (iOS and Android). We are looking for a person who is eager to test and develop new ideas and strategies, adding your experience to deliver innovative results.
Goal:
- Improve current Volumio React-Native mobile App (iOS and Android)
- Develop and improve User Experience
- Improve performance
Required skills:
- Be able to manage all app lifecycle, from development to app store deploy
- Have sensibility and experience in User Experience
- Familiar with networking and network discovery protocols
- Knowledge of Firebase SDK
- Knowledge of NODEJS and frontend JS
Bonus skills:
- Experience with electron and progressive web apps
- Focus on performance optimization
- Knowledge of native development on iOS and Android
- Living in Florence, Italy
- WordPress knowledge
- Knowledge of Angular

This is a remote position but since our office is based in Florence, Italy, it is a plus if you are located in the same area for personal meeting purposes if necessary.
