Did you try out setting the rotation option of the Touch Display plugin to 270 deg. instead of putting
display_rotate=3
into “/boot/config.txt” and with what result?
I recommend to put these lines
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_timings=400 0 100 10 140 1280 10 20 20 2 0 0 0 60 0 43000000 3
hdmi_blanking=1
into “/boot/userconfig.txt” instead of “/boot/config.txt” otherwise they will not survive the next Volumio update. 
The same goes for display_rotate=3 if you don’t achieve the same result using the plugin’s option.

are you using an external dac or just the 3.5 audio output from the raspberry pi itself or HDMI?
if you are using an i2s dac you could change under playback options/mixer type to software/hardware or try none.
you could also try setting/changing audio resampling.
do a reboot after making any changes.
could also be a 5 volt power problem from the raspberry pi or external dac that is poorly powered.
I use a external USB Dac. If I use the audio of the pi is it all fine

hello i have this Waveshare 7.9inch Capacitive LCD HDMI Touch Control Panel working , but there is no touch function … mmm is that normal or is there more to be installed to use the touch function… ?
Is the display’s USB port connected to the Pi? If so, please try another USB cable for that connection. If that doesn’t help, connect to Volumio via SSH. From there execute
ls -al /dev/input
and post the output.
Also post the output of
cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log
Please also provide some additional information about your system:
What is the Volumio version?
What Pi model are you using?

works perfect … but tried this 7.9 hdmi display …it would fit my project better
There are two USB connections, one for power and the other for touch control. You may need to try a different USB cable for touch control.

its working now … and you know what … i only connected the hdmi cable and the power usb plug … shame on me …i didnt connect that usb touch cable lol …
works perfect …can set the touch rotation by the button on the back and the rotation of the screen with the touch display pluggin
