Volumio X86 sound support

Hello,

I plan to replace my Volumio (installed on a Raspberri Pi) with Volumio X86 running under a VM.
Question: What sound card is supported under Volumio?

I was looking for a USB “Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro” but anything else will be good too.

Any soundcard supported by the Alsa project should work.
Don’t bother with 5.1 cards, Volumio only offers 2-channel stereo.
