You can check your CPU temperature if you are able to ssh in.
cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp
Edit: divide result by 1000 to get temp in C.
thanks i m using a plugin of volumio but thanks thats an other way i guess to check…now i have to find a way to lower the temp…
i think the issue is the firmware

i update the firmware through rasbian right?
i have a usb stick that runs the os with pi4 and raspbian os you can run it from usb 
yess do it from Raspberry Pi OS volumio can’t do this…
yeah thats a good idea. i know i have to run the command to update it through the terminal. and it doesnt look like overheating. hopefully the update fixes this issue
now i have to find my adapter to connect it on the monitor…

published 2019-11-02 is standing under the post… your firmware is 2019-11-29
thats a beta version? its an old version…if this a beta thats a reason for these issues
the beta was working ok that was the heat reducing part and the boot from usb part

yeah temps are good like 45. so the only reason is maybe a bug on the firmware since it is old?
it was not a real bug they only reduced the use of power instead of running full power all,
the time it was changed to 45 in idle state…
Heat and Power Savings
The updated firmware reduces the Pi 4’s power-draw by about 0.4W when it’s idle and 0.3W under load. That’s a pretty huge difference in heat-output in a small closed-off enclosure.
Network Booting Is Now Possible
The new standard firmware version does not include PXE Network booting functionality. However, there is now a beta firmware version available which does - finally - give the Raspberry Pi 4 the ability to boot off a network server. Enabling the beta firmware requires changing a line in the file

that is most of the time the install of volumio… that’s why i’m on the 3.10 it’s snappy…
when i press a button it plays without any delay…(not even a second.)
it’s missing my volumio part that is later included in the 3.14 and 3.15 but with me they run slow
its not version issue. i took this sd card on my other rpi4 and it works fine. most likely to be honest it will be doing the same on v3.
it sounds more like a hardware issue if it’s not a software problem is.
i ll try to update the firmware. i had to get hdmi adapter and if still after this then i have no idea…
the firmware looks like a option after that it’s more guess work.
