My Volumio instance keeps disappearing off my local network after a day or two. It is on a Raspberry Pi 3 model B, and is version 2.657 of volumio. It is connected using wifi. Curiously, it is right next to an instance of PiHole on a Raspberry Pi Zero-W, which stays on the network permanently without problem, which makes me think the problem is onboard the Volumio Pi rather than the router.
After Volumio disappears, I have to unplug and restart it to use it again. It does not start up its own wifi network when this happens either, and I can’t seem to ping it. I do have it set up to have a static IP on the local network.
How can I troubleshoot this?
