I just downloaded the 1.3 beta, and configuring wireless does not work well because I do not use security. (other than being so far out in the middle of no where that my signal isn’t strong enough to leave my land)
When I type in my SSID and select no security and then save, when the page returns no SSID is filled in. (for good measure I rebooted without a network connection and as expected I didn’t get a connection.
I was able to find a work around: select WEP security and enter a password, then save that. Of course it doesn’t connect, but after rebooting I was then able to change to no security.
