When I disable the wifi and BT on my raspberry by adding the
dtoverlay=disable-wifi
dtoverlay=disable-bt
to the config.txt on the boot partition, mpd is stop scanning my network share after a couple of albums parsed.
I am using “vers=3.0” in the optional parameters for the cifs share on the sources page of volumio.
The share is provided by a Synology NAS configured to use minimum SMB protocol SMB2 and Large MTU, maximum SMB protocol SMB3. Hence the vers=3.0 needed for the cifs parametes to mount the share.
Everything is working perfectly when I am not applying the dtoverlay parameters described above.
