Volumio (DAC+/Pi3) won't boot for first time

Hi there, I bought a new Pi3 with a DAC+ which is connected through ethernet. First installed OSMC which worked OK.
Now I installed Volumio (last build) on the same (wiped) SD card with Etcher and it got stuck and leaves me with nothing but a “freezed” screen unfortunately. Tried to do a clean reinstall but ended up at the same issue (see below) which is shown on the screen. Powersupply is an official Ri one and shouldn’t be a problem. No USB devices connected. Tried to disable BT without any luck.

Tried all the things I could find through Google but seems that for most people it just works (I don’t even use a WiFi dongle). Can anyone point me into the right direction?
