Volumio 3 RC1 - Open Beta Testing

if you close it, you get it every 5 sec…

This (volumio access page) problem has been reported several times now, but no one has supplied logs. Come on guys, reporting a problem is only a part of a solution.

That’s wrong, I did…

Sorry carlito, you are correct.

Wright… But it seems a general issue… Not specific so easy to reproduce it and find the error…

it’s a toaster that is triggered ever few seconds …

after 4th installs i had 1 good working one the total settings don’t show…
last version balena etcher & pi imager on external screen, the internal screen loads normal on 3.10,
gonna test if this is the same with the 3.150 this is firefox related.

Done and done. Time for critical listening on my Grado’s!!

Next question, is there a way to change the colorschema of this program? I’d like to change the UI to grey instead of green, to suit my full suite of black and grey equipments.

Edit:
I like the new Manifest UI! Can I still change the green parts though?

The only colour schemes available are in the settings, under Appearance You can change the back ground image or change it to a solid colour.

Understood. Thank you for the help. I’ve been A/B’n a CD player and a FLAC album right now and I gotta say, with my equipment, they sound near identical. I’m extremely impressed with Volumio. Tried the DSP’s, they seem to make the whole mix quieter. No biggy, no EQ is fine by me!

Thanks again!

@volumio
On the 3.150 HifiBerry Digi+ Pro works out of box via the I2C dropdown menu.

I like the new UI. But same issue as others with account page popping up every few seconds. Too lazy for log but it seems to affect many people so not specific to my set up.

if you switch to old UI your good 2 go  it doesnt happen there.

Absolutly no probs so far with this new Version and RPI 4 and Allo DigiOne . Only thing was ,that i need to restart twice after install because my hdd was not recognized first .

'Fraid not for me, ALSA errors.
Now in ‘discussion’ with HiFiBerry as requested, this is the thread.

Same here, account page popping out.
Also it seems very slauggish.

Same here, can only get occaisional sound out put (Allo USBridge+Allo digi sig, SMSL SU90 dac).
The new interface looks great though.

(in high embarrassment mode)
OOPS! my bad …a dud battery powering the Allo digione sig was the culprit.

All DSPs, if setup correctly will make it seem quieter. As when you boost a particular frquency by say 5dB you should turn down the pre amp to -5dB to prevent clipping and distotrtion. (FusionDSP does this automatically) which leads to it being quieter overall.
