I updated to version 3.173 today. While listening to music the Volumio 3 restar and display this message
, this happend every 1 or 2 minutes

Would you share a log please?
Ideally from a fresh reboot, after reproduction of the problem.

I submitted a log for the same problem earlier on. For me, the issue only occurs when logged in to MyVolumio; however, I need to log in to get the full functionality!

That does not help a lot if you open a new issue, let’s be fair.
Do you seriously expect me to search the whole forum for a log you posted sometime, somewhere 
I submitted the log in the way you mentioned above (i.e. from the dev page); however, as I haven’t had any acknowledgement yet, I can’t give you a reference

How long should it take before I get the link. The field currently shows “Sending log report, please wait”
When you do this after a fresh start (please), then it should not take more than a few seconds.
Can you confirm your error description?
Did I understand correctly that you start playing something and then you get this message? Again and again? Or only when starting to play?
When you wait a little until this message appears and only then play something, does it happen then as well?
Could the repetitive restarting of the player be preventing the log being submitted properly?
As soon as I log in to my profile, the player restarts, and then repeatedly restarts every 15-20 seconds. I am not actually playing any music. Just trying to set the device up. I have a lifetime subscription but, as I thought this might be causing the problem, I also tried setting up the device with a trial monthly subscription and encountered the same problem.
Yes, that is possible.
Now this gets more difficult, do you know how to use SSH?
Then reboot, play something, let it restart once or twice, then open a terminal session and on the command line, issue
logdump "RPi3B restarting in a loop"
You will get a URL there, hopefully…

I don’t know SSH, but I can try and work it through. I’ve just recorded a video clip of the problem occurring. Is there a way to send it to you without sharing it with everyone else?

No need to share, I believe that I know what you are experiencing.
But the log is needed to understand what is happening.
The link I sent for sending a log also shows you how to activate SSH.
Another possibility: go back to the /dev page and start a live log while it is playing, perhaps you can copy&paste the output after it restarted?

Even though the player continues to restart, no additional entries seem to be added to the log
Did you upgrade from V2 or flashed a fresh V3 on SD?
I had this problem when I upgraded, so re-flashed the SD with V3.173 and get exactly the same behaviour.
Do you use Spotify and when yes, does this only happen with Spotify?
Playing webradio is ok?
