Volumio 2 url commands

I used the following url to stop playing music in Volumio 1: /command/?cmd=stop I use this in my home automation system. When I shutdown my amplifier volumio will also stop playing.

Since I have upgraded to Volumio 2 this is not working anymore. Is this still supported and can someone please tell me the syntax?

Those commands will not work anymore, since we switched to WebSocket APIs.

Unfortunatly I am not able to use Websockets through my Home Automation System.
I have seen that mpd Emulation is working now in current version of Volumio2, does this affect the Control though UDP anyway.
As the only way to talk through Network is tcp and udp from my Home Automation system.
