Any Help ???

try the 2.904 and i think you have to use i2s ( if this is possible with the hilo )
there is not a lot info what the hilo can do nor the settings

I can’t see 2.904 for download
I2S is not possible with hilo, only USB DAC

why not try the 3.xx instead your already on pi 4 and 8gb so you could try that too.

just tried, 3.074. The same problem :frowning: not playing…
My frient has Hilo and Volumio, it is working

i would ask him for the settings… he already knows how hilo has to be configered.
if he could walk you true the settings then you know how to set it up.

settings are the same, maybe PI problem

Maybe stupid , but is it the same usb plug on RPI?

does he have a pi0, 1, 2, 3 or 4?

@balbuze can’t find any settings of the hilo any where…
not in the USB DAC compatibility List
and the dac is showing up in volumio …that would be strange if it is the cable…

I’m not talking about cable, but about Usb port on RPI

use 2.0 instead of 3.0 could be a thing…

I tried two usb cables and all usb RPI ports
Other usb dac works fine
Hilo works fine with pc via USB

Best thing is to do logs in these cases.
Howto: Send a log

please find log link

excuse me, has Volumio 2.882 suddenly changed to Buster beta 3.074 :scream:

on the advice of dvo, above.
2.882 was the same problem

well spotted @dvo, looking at that as well, definitely not normal.

On Lynx’s forum “We don’t directly support Linux with any of our products.”
There are more reports, just google the above string “We…” and “Lynx”.
Not much hope I’m afraid…
