The Display plugin installation hangs in case you have no default keyboard selected.
To fix it I have rebooted and manually run:
sudo dpkg --configure -a
then uninstalled and re-installed the plugin …
BUT after reinstallation and a reboot … I get a kernel panic message (and the installation is broken)
