V3 doesn't recognize DAC; need to roll back

Volumio Information

Volumio Version: 3.165
Dac Audioengine D2

After upgrading, Volumio does not see my DAC (optical connection). Everything hardware-wise is exactly the same.

I reflashed, reinstalled the app, and reset to factory configuration before reconfiguring.

Works fine with a USB cable.

I need to either roll back or pick someone’s brain
